We Start On
When you open your eyes in disbelief and look towards the highest mountains in the world staring back at you, thats when you pinch yourself and know its not a dream! Awe-inspiring views of some of the highest peaks on the planet; trails through sub-tropical alpine landscapes; friendly and interesting locals following cultures unchanged for centuries; and great company along the way.. What more can you want! We’ve included a variety of activities like rafting and shamanic healing to get the most from the trip. With amazing yoga every day mixed with awesome scenery it will be a life changing experience, and an honour for us to be your guides along the way.
Natasha is a yoga therapist and founder of Anam Cara Yoga Retreats, a yoga travel and adventure company. She is certified from the Kripalu centre in Massachusetts and has been working in the space of chronic illness and structural issues for over 5 years. She enjoys sufi whirling, dynamic dance meditations, discovering ancient systems of practice for women and conducts yoga for children. Natasha creates beautiful spaces and intimate gatherings using sound, art and dance therapy with yoga and other healing practices to offer a holistic experience. Anahata began her spiritual journey in 2012. On this path she’s received divine guidance to help people heal, find themselves and create & nurture a process that promotes discovering, healing and loving oneself. She does this through the practice of shamanism, working with the fairy realm, chakra healing, oracle reading, reiki, flower essence, animal communication & healing and inner child work. She will be leading guided meditations and drum journeys to deepen and strengthen your connection with Nature.
We'll be doing the amazing Annapurna trek, visiting Gandruk, Jhinu Dhanda and the Hot Springs, staying in some of these amazing areas on the way. And to make it more interesting, we'll have a variety of wellness sessions daily on the trek!
Instead of driving all the way to Pokhara we are breaking the journey by rafting half of it through Trisuli River. Nepal is one of the best places to raft in and we'll have expert guides all the way!

Not only will we have wellness sessions on the trek but also through the trip. These will be of many different kinds in keeping with our hosts' expertise across fields! It includes a new moon ceremony around a fire, shamanic dream interpretation sessions, ecstatic dance with evening bonfires, drum healing and so on.
Whats better than 2 feet to explore a place? 2 wheels! We'll be cycling around Pokhara's Phewa lake and all the way to a Newari village to immerse ourselves in the culture there.

We will be meeting locals and interacting with these welcoming communities all through the trip, from the cities and villages to our trek and rafting guides! We'll get to learn more about Nepali and Newari culture, have some fantastic local food that is sometimes so close to ours but not yet the same, understand their traditions and customs and be truly "neighbourly".

Kathmandu seems almost unchanged since the Middle Ages in some ways with narrow streets, carved balconies, hole-in- the-wall shops; town squares packed with temples and monuments, and lively markets and cafes. We'll be seeing some of this when in the city to understand what makes it so unique!

We'll be staying in mountain lodges and guesthouses across the trip, with amazing views and typical local Nepali hospitality.

The best thing about WCH is that these guys are totally customer centric, right from booking accommodations to setting an itinerary! The itinerary itself doesn't feel like you're on some tour with a rigid schedule. It is pretty free flowing, but extremely well thought out at the same time. I recently went for their Windrush Rising trip in place of my cancelled Eurotrip and I genuinely believe it was one of the best decisions I made.
Trekking with WHC has been one of the most beautiful experience & with perfect team cordination & arrangments provided even at the top of the mountain Wouldn"t expected more, the vibe was just right with like minded people waiting for sunrise. Would highly reccomend everybody to go with WHC (you guys rock!!) thanks for being patient. Thanks Kunal for helping me till the end & Kuntal for sharing your experiences. & would love to trek again in any furture treks.
